The author tried Causilo, a new tabular foundation model from Nums AI — one of several recent entrants in the space. Despite being the team's first model, Causilo shows strong results on tabular benchmarks. Since the technical report isn't out yet, the author built notebooks on both Kaggle and molab (marimo, with more CPU/RAM) to explore the model and its API; links are public.
