Levelsio: A single $20 VPS once handled 300M visits a year

Indie hacker @levelsio shared his deployment setup: until recently he ran a single VPS serving 300 million visitors per year across his products. He has now expanded to 9 VPS servers at about $20/mo each, spreading his sites across them. The reply came in response to advice that developers with real traffic should use VPS instead of managed platforms — total cost now under $200/mo for a high-traffic indie portfolio.
