Gary Marcus says his long-standing prediction was "right in the money": the entire field has now joined the hybrid revolution by using harnesses, tools, and code interpreters — yet almost nobody explicitly admits that neurosymbolic AI has swept the field. In the quoted tweet, he notes Andrew Ng and LSTM pioneer Sepp Hochreiter were among the first this year to join the hybrid AI camp, and predicts many more will follow.
