NeurIPS 2026 EEG/EMG challenge: decode hand pose from wrist EMG with Meta Neural Band

The EEG/EMG Foundation Challenge 2026, hosted by Yneuro, Inria and UC San Diego, runs Sep 21–Nov 21 with four decoding tracks and a $20,000 prize pool. Track 4 reconstructs hand pose from wrist surface EMG using Meta's Neural Band — no cameras or gloves. Warm-up phase uses public data with leaderboard feedback; finals are scored on sealed private 2026 data, with winners announced at the NeurIPS Brain & Body Workshop in Sydney.
