Shuttered robotics company Eidon AI open-sources 9TB of egocentric video with IMU tracking

Eidon AI, a robotics company that wound down, has released its entire dataset on Hugging Face under CC-BY-4.0: 1,274 hours of egocentric video paired with 7-IMU arm tracking across 13,451 recordings (9 TB) of people doing laundry, cleaning, dishes and cooking.
The release is split in three parts:
- tracker-pov: the 13,451 egocentric MP4s (9.05 TB), loadable with loaddataset
- tracker-pov-imu: matching 24 Hz orientation/motion sensor data, 779M rows (9.5 GB)
- egocentric-pov: extra sensor-less egocentric video (1.55 TB) in a Storage Bucket, accessed via hf buckets sync or the S3-compatible API
The rig was a head-mounted camera plus a seven-point IMU harness — data that outlives the company.
