Dev open-sources a productivity-focused MCP server directory organized by use case
Neither_Koala1678 · reddit · 2026-09-21
A Reddit user launched an open-source GitHub repo dedicated to productivity-focused MCP servers, arguing existing MCP directories mix developer tools, databases and productivity apps into one giant list.
The list currently spans 10 categories: notes/knowledge management, project & task management, research & web search, meetings & transcription, calendar & scheduling, documents & files, email, automation, developer productivity, and mind mapping/visual thinking. Listings aim to be simple and factual, with official links and alphabetical ordering per category.
The author also builds MindMap AI (included in the visual-thinking section) but positions the repo as a community resource, welcoming PRs for missing servers and categories.
