Bilawal Sidhu's open-source God's Eye View has reached 39,500 stars and 8,000 forks on GitHub — 10,000 stars in one week. It fuses public feeds into a photorealistic 3D globe:
- 15 layers: 11,000+ live aircraft (military flights in amber), thousands of ships, 838 satellites plus the full Starlink shell, quakes from the last 24 hours
- Click any plane to lock the camera, draw its trail and pull live telemetry; tracking a ship or wildfire hands off to the nearest live camera
- Cockpit mode rides inside a real flight down to the runway
- A CCTV layer projects 3,600 public cameras (Austin, London, California, Finland) into the 3D city, showing each camera's field of view and blind spots; a newer layer maps license plate readers
- Night-vision/thermal re-skins with detection boxes; one-click install or five terminal lines, runs locally with no API key, and a realtime voice-driven AI agent answers questions like 'which ships are headed to Oakland?' and flies you there
