CosmoRemote: build, run and test Claude Code changes from your phone via simulator streaming
math_the_witch · reddit · 2026-09-21
CosmoRemote solves the "Claude says done but I can't verify it from the gym" problem: a native iOS/Android app plus a Mac bridge daemon that builds, installs, and streams your project's simulator to your phone with touch passthrough, plus web preview, local API client, and build/app logs. The author also shares his Claude Code workflow: one numbered prompt file per feature with scope and gates, machine rules in CLAUDE.md, and end-to-end tests as the merge criterion. Notable workaround: newest iOS simulators can't stream video, so the bridge records segments via simctl with a visible "delayed preview" banner. Free tier: 1 Mac, home network; brew install matheusjkweber/tap/cosmoremote.
