Single HTML file adds weighted prompt randomization and consistency locks for ComfyUI
klartreumer · reddit · 2026-09-20
A Reddit user shared an offline prompt randomizer for ComfyUI workflows, built via vibe coding as a single .html file with no install needed.
Key features:
- Weighted randomness: roulette-wheel weighting per variable, e.g. Blue/Blonde:3/Brown:0.5 makes Blonde appear more often
- Consistency locks: <Tag> syntax rolls a variable (e.g. hair color) exactly once and locks it across the whole prompt
- Variation batching: fix a base prompt and iterate every value of one variable (5 lighting setups, 10 camera angles), exporting prompts plus a labels txt usable as text overlay
- QoL: right-click menu for tag insertion, batch-generate 5–1000 prompts, save/load configs as JSON
Pastebin links included for the HTML, two ComfyUI workflows (random prompt and variation batch, using Jovimetix nodes to fix txt refresh), and an example config.
