Tired of manually migrating servers, the author spent months building Gateway, an MCP service that sits between the model and the machine: it holds credentials, scopes what the AI can touch, routes work through regional executors, and logs everything. It works over plain SSH and Tailscale and exposes both MCP and HTTP APIs. After six weeks and 15,000+ real jobs, he launched it publicly, targeting homelab, VPS fleets, and Linux box management by AI.
