GitHub engineer marlenezw says that during her keynote at an Agentic AI Foundation conference she called on Anthropic to support the Agents.md spec — and Anthropic shipped support the very next day. She also demoed recent GitHub agent features. The fast turnaround signals Agents.md solidifying as a de facto standard for coding-agent configuration.
