macOS 27 ships with mlx_whisper built in, letting agents transcribe video locally

After upgrading to macOS Golden Gate 27.0, one user found mlxwhisper built into the OS — Apple's MLX-based local Whisper transcription. Agents can invoke it themselves to transcribe video audio with no extra setup, a handy new default for on-device speech-to-text workflows.
