AI makes long-feedback-loop knowledge even more valuable, Stripe engineering lead argues

Bernhardsson argues that the most valuable knowledge is the kind that requires long feedback loops — months or years — to learn. This was always true, but AI makes it even more true: as AI compresses the cost of acquiring short-loop knowledge, hard-won long-loop expertise becomes relatively more valuable.
