WetRobo: A Reproducible Robot Kit Lets Coding Agents Run Real Wet-Lab Experiments

sherryyangML · x · 2026-09-19

Sherry Yang and collaborators released WetRobo (arXiv:2609.18435), a reproducible robot kit where a coding agent observes a wet lab, writes and executes robot programs, and adapts via physical trial and error.

The authors argue academia's edge over fast-improving generalist robot systems is robots doing real science in physical labs.
