Jefferies flags weak iPhone 18 Pro demand: resale premiums just 1-8% vs 15-29% last year

Jefferies reports early demand weakness for the iPhone 18 Pro/Pro Max and expects Apple could cut orders in October. US lead times remain at zero, and 18 Pro Max resale premiums are just 1%-8% versus 15%-29% for the 17 Pro Max at the same point last year. The firm also expects the upcoming foldable 'Duo' to cannibalize Pro Max sales, making Apple's planned 15% YoY production increase harder to hit.
