Client stiffs AEO agency out of $5,000: once results are in the models, there's no taking them back

An agency owner doing AEO (getting businesses recommended in ChatGPT/Perplexity answers) says a US client refused to pay the final $5,000 invoice after being pushed to the top of ChatGPT recommendations. Unlike SEO, AEO results live inside the models and can't be pulled, and cross-border legal action costs more than the debt. His lesson for peers: get paid before the results go live.
