berkeley_ai · x · 2026-09-18

The SPIN workshop at CoRL 2026 (Nov 12, Austin) will host a Child–Robot Dexterity Challenge where robots and a child tackle the same everyday tasks live on stage. Organizers provide a bimanual YAM setup (MolmoAct 2 style) with a Sharpa dexterous hand, or teams can bring their own hardware (applications due Oct 5). The workshop explores Structured Physical Intelligence: VLAs, world models, object-centric representations, and why children learn manipulation from few interactions. Speakers from Stanford, Columbia, TU Darmstadt, and AMI Labs.
