Salesforce announced Koa, its first reasoning model, at Dreamforce, unveiled by CEO Marc Benioff and NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang. Engineer huanwang shares that the model grew out of a research bet made three years ago. Built with Agentforce and NVIDIA, Koa incorporates newly verified techniques and is purpose-designed for the tasks CRM agents actually perform — moving years of lab work into the product line.
