OpenAIDevs · x · 2026-09-18
OpenAI's dev account announced that Codex now supports voice interaction: you can talk to an agent inside Codex that works on your repo, marketed as "You handle the reps. Codex handles the repo."
The feature is powered by a new model called GPT-Live-1 and can be used from your phone to connect to your computer from anywhere, promoted with a playful ad showing coding done mid-workout.
