OpenAI close to proving the Hodge Conjecture, report claims; math seen transforming like coding

According to The Information's Steph Palazzolo, OpenAI is close to solving another Millennium Prize problem, the Hodge Conjecture, and expects to finish a proof soon — though an announcement could take extra time as the company navigates its rocky relationship with the math community.
Per Andrew Curran, some OpenAI researchers believe that over the next six to nine months, math will go through the same transformation that software engineering has experienced.
