Jev adds deterministic task-based model routing across Claude Code, Codex and Opencode
alexcovo_eth · x · 2026-09-17
Developer @mdlahfir shared Jev, a local harness/model routing setup for agentic coding stacks. Instead of enforcing delegation rules via system prompts, a deterministic hook lets Claude Code decide routing before delegation, dispatching by task intensity with reportedly high accuracy.
- Mechanical tasks → Haiku
- Intelligent tasks → Opus sub-agents
- Long-running implementation work → external harness
The stack combines Claude Code, Codex and Opencode, with Jev picking the right harness/model per task.
