A developer with a mechanical engineering background says he couldn't install GitHub a year ago, but now gets paid to build agents and harnesses thanks to Codex. Last month he became a Codex ambassador in Salt Lake City and met Sam Altman and Thibault Sottiaux — another concrete case of AI coding tools rewriting career paths.
