Astra Fellowship is Constellation's fully funded, 5-month in-person program at its Berkeley research center, offering an $8,400 monthly stipend to help exceptional people transition into high-impact AI safety careers. Mentors and career support included; prior AI safety experience not required.
Over 80% of the first cohort now work full-time in AI safety at organizations like Redwood Research, METR, Anthropic, OpenAI, Google DeepMind, and government AI safety institutes. This round features Empirical Research and Strategy & Governance tracks; an expression-of-interest form is open.
