Robotic hand taught to walk on its fingertips with RL: "Fingers as Legs" demo and paper
generativist · x · 2026-09-17
Researcher @amrhkzp demonstrated an RL-trained robotic hand that walks on its fingertips — normally an arm carries the hand to the work, but they trained the hand to get there on its own and then use the same fingers to do the job, dubbed "Fingers as Legs."
The post links a demo video and paper, with reposter @lukemetro calling it "now this is RL."
