Dev says he open-sourced a Jev-like architecture a year ago: paper, model, dataset

A developer claims he built and fully open-sourced an architecture very similar to TypeSafe's Jev a year ago (March 2025): an arxiv paper, HF model, PyPI package, and training dataset—plus a second paper (Sept 2025) matching what Jev now proposes, using PPO over sequence embeddings for turn-by-turn probability trajectories. Jev uses parallel sampling trained via RLCD for confidence distributions and schema choices. He's frustrated that a frontier lab packaged the same idea as a breakthrough without papers, open weights, or datasets, while his vertical-focused open work got no recognition—a commentary on the open-source ecosystem.
