Anthropic merges Cowork and chat into one Claude, rolling out to Pro and Max users

Anthropic is merging Claude Cowork and chat into a single Claude experience. Users can ask a quick question or hand over a full report, and Claude takes it from there — even after the laptop is closed — asking clarifying questions while keeping final say with the user. The update, along with Design, rolls out to Pro and Max subscribers over the next few weeks.
