Teaching a robotic hand to walk on its fingertips, no robot arm required

A researcher demonstrated "Fingers as Legs": teaching a robotic hand to walk on its fingertips so it can reach the work site without a robot arm, then use the same fingers to perform the task — inverting the usual paradigm where the arm carries the hand. A demo video and paper are attached.
