Andy Masley pushed back on AI doom narratives on X, arguing that until a doomer articulates the actual chain of events leading to doom, assigns a conjunctive probability to each link, and justifies large p(doom) numbers, skepticism is warranted. He contends doomers treat doom as deterministic once AGI arrives, which he finds implausible.
