Economist Paul Novosad warns that papers claiming negative wage/employment effects of AI need very careful reading.
He shows how the same result can be framed as 'wage decline for AI-exposed workers' or something quite different — and argues you should not conclude AI-exposed workers are worse off. A methodological caution about how such studies get overstated.
