Developer aniketmaurya showcases Celesto (930 GitHub stars), an open-source project whose core, SmolVM, gives AI agents their own secure and persistent microVM computers. Built on it, OpenMuse is an open-source computer coworker that can browse the web, use apps, and keep working in the background even when your laptop is off — supporting multiple model providers and running locally. The author even used it to find cheap Bay Area housing ahead of his move. The repo includes guest-agent, a microvm kernel, and agent skills modules.
