AI researcher camhberg appeared on CNBC's Squawk Box arguing we need to rapidly advance the science of AI cognition to address existential risks from building advanced intelligence we don't fundamentally understand. "We're in a very ambiguous zone with these systems," he said. "The important thing is to understand what's going on inside of them."
