Semi-humanoid robot OpenShell debuts at exhibition, dubbed "sloth robot"

Japanese researcher Osone Hiroyuki exhibited OpenShell, a semi-humanoid robot, and Chris Paxton reshared it calling it a "sloth robot." Based on the name and form, it's a sloth-inspired embodied platform making a public exhibition debut — an unconventional alternative to standard humanoid designs worth watching in embodied AI.
