Matt Shumer, who runs hundreds of agents daily, argues that elaborate agent setups don't make you productive — you spend more time building the system than doing real work.
His approach: one main agent session acts as a manager, farming out tasks to others; if something fails, tell the main session and it adjusts the overall approach. With the best models, nothing more is needed. The quoted @overment post shows the opposite route: Grok bots coordinating Pi sessions, with an extension manipulating worker context and keeping journals up to date.
