MiniMax launches H3 IP Edition at Japan IP×AI summit, 60+ companies signal adoption

MiniMax and KAGAMI AI co-hosted an "IP × AI" summit in Japan with 150+ companies from Japan and the US attending, plus guests including AKB48 producer Yasushi Akimoto and executives from SBI Neo Media and KADOKAWA, alongside Runway, Higgsfield, Krea, and HeyGen.
At the event MiniMax unveiled H3 IP Edition, pairing its H3 model with officially licensed Japanese IP for AI-powered storytelling. Over 60 companies have already expressed interest in adopting it, and the summit drew coverage from TV Tokyo's WBS.
The company frames this as a pivotal step toward bringing licensed Japanese IP into the generative AI era.
