Pinokio creator cocktailpeanut reports that the open-source music generation model YuE2 (now in WanGP) peaks at only 4.5GB VRAM throughout the entire generation, runs fast, and produces songs he judges on par with SUNO. With an official eval chart plus audio samples, he argues it sounds better than any open music model before it.
