TBC launches brain-cell-inspired AI video model Mischief at $0.005 per second

San Francisco startup The Biological Computing Co. released TBC Mischief 1, an image-to-video model built on Wan 2.2 that claims insights from living neuron cultures, running 5x faster at $0.005/second of video ($0.025 per 5s clip). Neurons stay in TBC's lab; findings become software add-ons for normal AI chips. CEO Jon Homanescu says it aims to change the economics of AI at scale, following a September deal with Amazon Web Services. The post's Rockstar/GTA 6 "nano-sliced brains as NPCs" framing is satire.
