Kunlun Tech campus tour: AI dramas cut costs 95%, monthly output nears 300

Kunlun Tech kicked off its 2027 campus recruiting at Duke-Kunshan University, with CEO Fang Han sharing company numbers: 8B RMB revenue in 2025, 94% from overseas, 44% YoY growth.
The standout stat is the AI drama economics: a live-action short drama costs 2M RMB, 40 people, two months — the AI version needs 100K RMB, 7 people, two weeks. Monthly output has grown from 20-30 to nearly 300 titles. The overseas drama business, launched Dec 2024, has surpassed 100M registered users and expects 6B RMB revenue this year.
The company is hiring tech, content and operations roles, pays benchmarked to Tencent/Alibaba, and its 2026 stock incentive plan covers 786+ employees worth 1.4B RMB.
