Stability AI CEO laments the fall of the UK's only frontier model as China climbed

Stability AI founder Emad Mostaque calls the company's disappearance from the top "depressing for a variety of reasons": Stability was the first and only time the UK had a top frontier model, and China started climbing just a few months later. koltregaskes notes it's a shame the UK's Stability AI essentially vanished off the map only a couple of years after being at the top.
