DeepSeek Harness desktop app nears release: Electron build, signing and auto-update ready

DeepSeek's official Harness desktop app is in its final stretch: the repo's main branch adds a full apps/desktop Electron wrapper around the Web UI, bundling Node.js and pnpm with no manual server startup and no exposed ports. Build pipelines for macOS (Apple Silicon/Intel) and Windows x64 are ready, including macOS notarization, Windows EV signing, auto-update and install-failure recovery, with updates served from DeepSeek's own domain; Linux is not yet targeted. No release date announced, but the poster, who built it from source and fixed some issues, says all web functionality except plugins works and calls it "close to ZCode."
