Anthropic launches Claude for Financial Advisors with Schwab, BlackRock and Addepar connectors
minchoi · x · 2026-09-15
Anthropic released Claude for Financial Advisors, a suite of Cowork connectors and workflow skills aimed at advisors' research, prep and documentation work.
- Connectors cover Charles Schwab, BlackRock Advisor Center, Addepar, Envestnet/Tamarac, Orion, Wealthbox, iCapital and more, so client data lives in one place
- Skills handle meeting prep, notes, rebalance review and compliance docs
- Explicitly not a new model or ChatGPT-style financial product; regulated outputs still require human approval
- Available today via the Enterprise path for RIAs
Context: Kitces research says advisors spend only 1/6 of their time in client meetings, and EBRI's 2026 survey finds 4 in 10 Americans lack a go-to source for retirement advice.
