Vercel Labs goes official with product/experiment classification for AI dev tools

Vercel has formalized Vercel Labs as an official team exploring new capabilities and primitives for developers and agents, and introduced a public classification system on its new website:
- Labs products: proven, maintained, built to be relied on
- Active experiments: fast-moving, expect rough edges and breaking changes
- Past experiments: no longer developed, code stays readable and forkable
The site details each project's stage, including agent-browser (browser automation CLI for AI agents), deepsec (security harness run by coding agents), just-bash (Bash for agents), -render (generative UI framework), skills (open agent skills CLI), portless (named local URLs), fx (Unix-like coding agent), and vgpu (cross-runtime WebGPU library).
The move answers community questions about which Labs projects are safe to depend on in production.
