- Two days ago, Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei published a 4,000-word essay, 'We Must Pace the Frontier,' urging the industry to slow capability gains so safety research can catch up. Sam Altman publicly agreed; Elon Musk replied 'Dario is right.'
- Trump pushed back on Truth Social that morning, then phoned into Jensen Huang's on-stage interview at the All-In Summit in Los Angeles on speakerphone. He said 'AI is not gonna take over the world, robots are not taking over the world—the whole thing is a scam,' praised data centers for enriching struggling communities, and claimed data center opponents 'play into the hands of people who don't want America to win—politicians, maybe China.'
- Huang agreed throughout: 'You're right... we'll make sure America wins in the AI race—every industry, every company, every state, every person.'
