LocalLM SDK adds MCP 2025-11-25 support and per-tool-call approval policies
AdventurousKeys · reddit · 2026-09-15
LocalLM Lab SDK 1.0.0-beta.4 ships support for the MCP 2025-11-25 protocol (author is hunting a real compliant server for the newer 2026-07-28 spec instead of blind-coding), plus ToolCallAuthorizer for per-tool-call approval policies treating external MCP tools as untrusted. Includes VistaNova, an open-source macOS app with two on-device models calling Tavily over MCP.
