baoyu-design: open-source skill runs Claude Design locally in Cursor and Claude Code
dotey · x · 2026-09-15
The open-source project baoyu-design packages the design engine behind claude.ai/design as a portable Agent Skill for Cursor, Claude Code, Claude Desktop, or any file-capable local agent. Once installed, agents can produce polished UI mockups, interactive prototypes, wireframes, landing pages, dashboards, mobile app screens, and slide decks as self-contained HTML — all kept in your repo, with no website visit, separate subscription, or upload step. The repo has pulled 4k stars and 278 forks. dotey amplified a demo where a single prompt instructing the agent to read the repo's SKILL.md generated a home screen design for a meditation app.
