Dev tries new Codex integration: auto-login detection works, and a known Chrome fix ports right over
giffmana · x · 2026-09-15
Developer giffmana shares hands-on feedback on a new integration (apparently Codex-related): it auto-detected his existing logged-in user from codex-cli and just worked out of the box.
He hit one recurring issue he's seen in many apps, but since this app ships/uses Chrome, the same fix he previously built for Chrome applied and resolved it (with two screenshots). He's still waiting on computer use support and asks who to thank for the Arch integration.
