A Vinyl Bar in Shibuya, founded by former Spotify head of innovation Máuhan M Zonoozy, raised a $5.5M pre-seed from Mantis VC, SV Angel, Quiet Capital and others, with ex-Spotify chief content and advertising officer Dawn Ostroff joining as advisor. Instead of a big music-generation platform, the startup ships a series of small apps letting users play with sounds and vocals via generative AI prompts in the style of any artist.
