Superhuman acquires AI meeting notetaker Fathom to turn conversations into action

AI email client Superhuman has acquired Fathom, an AI meeting notetaker. CEO Shishir Mehrotra says users have long asked for notetaking, calling meetings one of the clearest places where AI adds value. The thesis goes beyond summarizing: making what was discussed, decided, and committed to useful in subsequent work. Commentator Matt Slotnick notes much of the customer-facing side of the business could be AI-driven into a high-leverage organization.
