The creator of Infra, an end-to-end continuity layer for long-running agents (MIT-licensed integration layer, PolyForm Shield runtime), published 205 sanitized eval runs. The hard problem isn't checkpointing but proving whether an external side effect (payment, migration, deployment) already happened before a crash. Results: Infra completed 5/5 high-risk continuations vs 4/5 for Strong Handoff with 49.4% fewer tokens and 60.8% faster recovery; it blocked all 10 injected duplicate effects. Compressed experience used 64.5% fewer tokens but cost 2.0% more than cold start, suggesting selective routing. Seeking up to 3 design partners for shadow-only pilots.
