isaac-forge packages NVIDIA Isaac ROS as conda — Pixi install on Jetson, no Docker
wolfvollprecht · x · 2026-09-14
The prefix.dev team released isaac-forge, packaging upstream NVIDIA Isaac ROS 4.6.0 packages (ROS 2 Jazzy, CUDA 13) as conda packages installable with Pixi — no Docker needed — on x8664 Linux and Jetson/ARM64 (e.g. Orin Nano with JetPack 7). Usage: configure channels in order (isaac-forge for Isaac ROS, robostack-jazzy for ROS 2 Jazzy, conda-forge for the rest); the README includes a pixi.toml example for the Isaac ROS YOLOv8 pipeline. Packages live in the public isaac-forge channel on prefix.dev.
