Elon Musk pushed back on claims that his AI safety concern is recent: he says he contributed to Nick Bostrom's Superintelligence and is thanked by name in the book's foreword.
He also reposted his own 2014 tweet warning that AI is potentially more dangerous than nukes, arguing he was sounding the alarm more than a decade before the current AI boom.
